A little more info (short version)

Built By Dennis Sapp and campaigned until 1989. The Touch of glass streamliner was powered by a 750cc Honda motorcycle engine. It ran upwards of 200 mph. eventually the body was pulled, and the chassis went in another car. the old body somehow found its way to my friend Ralph garage, initially Ralph wouldn't sell it to me, because he said I would just cut it up and ruin it (he thinks its funny to mess with me) After a little research on the H.A.M.B and contact with Dennis Sapp Ralph agreed to sell the body.
I teamed up with my friend Kirk who also had his eye on the old body. We plan to build the car to run "I" class (1000cc) gas streamliner. hope to see the salt in 2011 or 20012

How to go land speed racing

1. Find an old streamliner body in your friends garage.

2. bother him to sell it to you for years till you finally grind him down.
3. Trade your dune buggy for a 2005 Yamaha fz1,
4. partner up with a buddy and have fun.

Springer

I bought an old Extended 48 offset springer from my friend Sonny, cut the legs off,
and welded on a pair of model A wishbones.

The T

I recently received a compliment on my old blue T. They told me they liked it best as a single seater coupe. So I found some old pics of the car and the many stages it went through in 2 short years. first it was a 27 sedan with the roof cut off. then I found the coupe body but it didn't fit the chassis so I cut the chassis to fit the new body. then the price of the rocket motor built how I wanted killed the project. my friend suggested I just put Toyota motor I had in it and just have fun, so I did that. It always looked a little off to me this drag car with a little tinny motor. so 3 months after the car was painted and done I cut the roof off moved the steering wheel back over to the left and built the hood for it.
